Roseville, CA –The No 24 Cabinets by Hayley Toyota with rookie driver Cameron Hayley recorded a 5th place finish in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West season finale from Phoenix International Raceway. The finish at PIR locked the Bill McAnally Racing driver Hayley into the seventh position in the chase for the 2012 series championship. This was the young gun’s fifth top-five finish this season and seventh in the series.

At practice on Friday, Hayley was twelfth on the board of 32 drivers. He was fifth in the second and final practice.

Saturday, the Cabinets by Hayley Toyota team prepared for an early morning qualifying session. Hayley took the green flag for the session to begin. He was able to qualify on the inside of the fifth row in ninth.

Hayley took the green flag and gained two positions by lap 4 and one more two laps later. He radioed his crew chief, Trip Bruce that the car was “loose in and tight off”. At the restart at lap 26, Hayley moved into fifth. At the second caution at lap 32, he told his crew that at the restarts, he felt like the “car was on ice” until the next lap. Hayley took the checked in fifth with a nearly four second lead over the next competitor.

“This season has definitely been a huge learning curve for me and has helped me to develop skills I will need for the rest of my racing career!” said Hayley. “Going into this past weekend’s race in Phoenix, I had one thing on my mind and that was to win that race! In the previous two races at PIR, I had not had that much luck and I wanted to turn that around.”

“The No. 24 Cabinets by Hayley Toyota Camry felt great from the second we unloaded it to the second it crossed the finish line at the end of the race. We had a great Camry during the race but unfortunately started a little farther back then I had hoped. I had some great battles and learned a lot from my spotter Chris Monez about how to race those bigger tracks!”

“Overall the whole weekend went great and I would just like to thank BMR for a great year. They have really helped me become a better and smarter driver and I will take that with me through all steps of my career! It's been a good year with lots of learning and great people. Thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way!”

Hayley was second in the chase for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year title with a one point margin behind the top driver.

Bill McAnally Racing and the 24 Cabinets by Hayley/NAPA Filters Toyota team would like to thank our race partner Cabinets by Hayley, NAPA Batteries NAPA Filters, NGK, Balkamp and the many other great partners and all of the fans for their continued support through the season.

Cameron Hayley and the No. 24 NAPA Batteries/Cabinets by Hayley at AAS

Roseville, CA– Cameron Hayley, driver of the No. 24 NAPA Batteries/Cabinets by Hayley Toyota Camry brought home a second top-five finish at Bill McAnally Racing’s home track of All American Speedway in Roseville, California.

Sixteen-year old Hayley, who is a Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, qualified the No. 24 NAPA Batteries/Cabinets by Hayley Toyota Camry on the inside of the second row for the Toyota/NAPA “150”. The race was one of the featured race events in the All American Fall Classic at the Placer County Fairgrounds.

Hayley ran hard and moved into second place on lap 33. He maintained that position thru the next 80 laps in a fierce side-by-side battle for the lead with his teammate. He lost the position to the eventual race winner who took over the lead. At lap 130 with 20 laps to go, he radioed in to the No. 24 Batteries/Cabinets by Hayley team that” the track had lost a lot of grip”. He took the checkered flag in fifth place.

“This past weekend at All American Speedway was definitely a step in the right direction,” said Hayley. “We were really happy with the car and thought we had a shot to win! From the minute we unloaded the 24 NAPA Batteries/Cabinets by Hayley Toyota Camry it was on rails! It felt good in practice, qualifying and in the race! The car felt really good for the first half of the race but fell off a little towards the end but overall it was very good weekend and I look forward to going to Phoenix and making a statement that this team can and will win!”

The season finale will be at Phoenix International Raceway. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race will be a featured race event that will include both the NASCAR Nationwide Series and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The race will take place on November 10th. Kwasniewski Rebounds For Win At Roseville

17-Year-Old Takes Back Championship Lead In NASCAR K&N Pro Series West

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 13, 2012) – Dylan Kwasniewski got what he needed.

The 17-year-old from Las Vegas rebounded from an early flat tire to win the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 in NASCAR K&N Pro Series West action on Saturday night at All American Speedway and regain the lead in the championship standings, with just one race left on the schedule.

After starting on the pole for the fifth time this season, Kwasniewski fell back through the 24-car field in the early going with the tire problem. After a quick pit stop to change the flat, he began to scratch and claw his way to the front of the field. Kwasniewski made a Lap 119 pass on Eric Holmes and led the rest of the way for his third victory of the season and the fifth of his career.

In Victory Lane after the race, Kwasniewski talked about his early misfortune and battling back for the win.

“We didn’t even lead a lap; then we got a flat tire,” he said. “Right after I got in and we changed that flat, I got taken out and went to the back again.”

Despite the tight battling that went on around the third-mile Roseville oval, Kwasniewski was able to work his way back to the front.

“We just had an awesome car,” he said of the No. 03 Royal Purple/Rockstar Ford. “That was by far the best race I’ve had all year. It was so good to finish in the front. There’s no better feeling.

“I’m in the lead by one or two points,” Kwasniewski said of the championship standings. “This was by far the best race. We not only gained the points lead, but we won the race. I can’t thank the guys enough, and my mom, too. This is the happiest I’ve been all year.”

Holmes, who led a race-high 101 laps, held on for second – finishing .436 seconds behind Kwasniewski.

“It was a great night for the NAPA Toyota No. 20 car,” Holmes said. “I’m disappointed we didn’t get the win, but Dylan had a really fast car coming through the pack. Congratulations to him. That was an awesome win for him. On long greens, I was a little better than him, I felt. But on the short greens, he got by me. It was great side-by-side racing through the front of the field.”

David Mayhew was close behind in third. Derek Thorn, who lost the lead to Holmes after contact on Lap 33, recovered to take fourth – while Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Cameron Hayley finished fifth. Jamie Krzysik finished sixth in his series debut, with Travis Milburn in seventh and rookie Dallas Montes in eighth. Former series champion Mike David, making his first start since 2009, and Jonathon Gomez rounded out the top 10.

Kwasniewski came into the night trailing Gene Price Motorsports teammate and defending NASCAR K&N Pro Series West champion Greg Pursley by 14 points in the standings. It was a sub-par performance for Pursley. After starting 13th, he ran into early trouble and had to make a quick pit stop. Starting from the back, he also made his way to the front and was up to fourth by the midway point of the race. He faded in the second half, however, and ended up 13th.

Kwasniewski came away with a two-point lead over Pursley as the series heads to the season finale, Casino Arizona 50, at Phoenix International Raceway on Nov. 10. Thorn is third in the standings, with Holmes fourth and Mayhew fifth. They are followed by Michael Self, Hayley, Austin Dyne, Gomez and Ryan Philpott.

In addition to the series championship, the Sunoco Rookie of the Year title will be decided at Phoenix – with Dyne holding a slim lead over Hayley.

Cameron Hayley Motorsports is set to challenge at Auto Clearing Speedway

Calgary, AB- Cameron Hayley will return to his favorite Canadian oval in the upcoming Dakota Dunes Casino Western Canadian Super Late Model Championship on September 1st. The Cabinets by Hayley #24 Super Late Model Racing Team has been racing down south in 2012 under the tutelage of long time racing great, Bill McAnally. McAnally’s Racing Team spotted the young Canadian talent early in 2011 and wasted no time in offering him a full time ride for 2012 in the NASCAR K&N Pro West Division.

Two thirds of the way through the season, Cameron is holding a tight lead in the 2012 rookie of the year standings and is also being touted as one of the “Next Nine” drivers to keep your eye on. The “Next Nine” are NASCARs rising stars and these young drivers are expected to compete for jobs in NASCARs premier Sprint Cup Division in only a few short years.

This is only the second race this season for Cameron in a Super Late Model, the other was the Montana 200 where Cameron was biding his time but was collected in an incident through no fault of his own shortly past the halfway mark of the race and was forced to watch the balance of the race due to mechanical issues. The car has since been made ready and is set to compete against Western Canada’s top drivers.

“It’s been a long time since I have been to Saskatoon for a race and I’m really looking forward to getting back there. Ever since my very first race there, the fans and the facility have been very supportive of me and the Cabinets by Hayley racing team”. The fans may be in for a bit of shock this year however. Less than a month since his 16th birthday, most would not recognize the tiny little driver with the big talent that they may remember as Cameron now a young man, standing a lean 6’1” tall, and has abandoned the Justin Bieber hairdo that was all the rage only a short time ago. When asked about his chances in the upcoming event, Cameron exudes confidence with his reply “I am really looking forward to returning to Auto Clearing Motor Speedway and will try to put the #24 Cabinets by Hayley Super late model on top of the board when the checkered flag drops”.

With two thirds of the season now in the books, Cameron is excited about returning to a very familiar race track in front of the best race fans anywhere. “The Super Late model is lighter and more nimble than the cars I’ve been racing this season and I’m looking forward to taking advantage of what I’ve learned in the NASCAR K&N Series this year”, says the young star with an excited look of determination on his face.
